Alternative Family Living (AFL) is an innovative model of providing support and care for disabled adults and children who require help with day-to-day activities and whose needs can be met by an individual or family in a natural home setting.

Our day supports are services for all ages that focus on helping people set and reach personal goals, form and sustain meaningful community connections and relationships, achieve positive outcomes in health and wellness, and more.

Specialized Consultative Services offers expertise, training and technical assistance in a specialty area to assist family members and support staff in helping individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Under this model, family members and caregivers are trained by licensed professionals on how to carry out therapeutic interventions to improve the individual’s quality of life.

Respite services are offered to give caregivers a break from care. The services are flexible and can be provided in a range of locations. Activities during respite can be accommodating to meet any special needs or requests of the family and client. All individuals performing respite services are staff. Medication management services- includes the practices of assisting with management of medications that may include all aspects of medication administration.

We also offer an array of supported employment services, including Vocational Rehabilitation, to help adults with disabilities obtain competitive employment and provide the training and skills needed for them to work as independently as possible.
